Rolling covers with and without casing
Rolling covers are produced as two basic variants:
- encased - closed in steel casings of three different sets of dimensions: 63x63mm, 83x83mmm, 113x113mm, depending on the length of the tape.
- without casing.
With the above-mentioned covers, four different kinds of protective tape is used:
- cotton fabric, coated on both sides with 0,8÷0,9mm of PVC
- glass fiber, metal-plated with 0,5-0,6mm of aluminum powder, resistant to as much as 350ºC
- fabric, coated on both sides with 0,5mm-thick layer of PVC and some modificatory additives
- polyester fabric, coated on both sides with nitrile rubber - a gasoline- and oil-resistant agent used on gaskets and 1,5mm thick oil membranes
- acid-resistant steel tape 0,2mm thick
Inside the winding roll there is a rolling mechanism. Depending on the length of the tape/ structural fabric a single, double or triple spring set is used.
